Brian’s 26th Birthday cake

I used two different recipes for this cake. I used a lemon cake from a cake decorating book I have. I also used a curd filling and butter cream frosting from Annie’s eats. I had problems with the butter cream frosting. I think I needed to let the butter soften up more before using the hand mixer and next time I will not at the vanilla unless the frosting is too stiff.  I will just need to practice making the frosting again some time 🙂

The cake is Lemon

The curd: Blueberry curd ( instead of raspberries)

The frosting: Lemon/vanilla butter cream frosting.
