Frenches Crispy Chicken

I saw this recipe on tv multiple times and I had to try it. We made the Hellman’s Parmesan crusted chicken last month and it was amazing!

I have to admit it there was something missing from the recipe. It was a great recipe and we did not have any left overs ! It was crispy and juicy though not as juicy as the Hellman’s recipe. We will have to experiment with this recipe to see if we can make it even better than it already is :). I recommend this to anyone looking for a new way to make crispy chicken.

Frenches Crispy Chicken


3 cups (6 oz.) FRENCH’S® Original or Cheddar French Fried Onions

1/4 cup flour

3 to 4 lbs. chicken pieces, skinned

1 to 2 eggs, beaten


Place French Fried Onions with flour into plastic bag. Lightly crush with hands or with rolling pin. Transfer to pie plate.

Dip chicken into egg; then coat with onion crumbs, pressing firmly to adhere. Place chicken on baking sheet.

BAKE chicken at 375°F for 45 min. or until chicken is no longer pink near bone.
